Master Set 1: Invasion of Jaxis 9Overkill Maximum is a passion project I am currently working to become a brand new product. This project is an interactive board game that has 1-6 players engage in combat with different factions over resources and power. The game is considered to be in the alpha stage of development, where all artwork is sample work. The logo, card template design, card back design, grid structure of game boards and command boards, Squad Token Design, Command Center Token Design, control point tokens, overall layout of content was designed by me. This is a project I hope to take to the next level over the course of the following year or years to become a fully licensed interactive board game.

Master Set Game Guide
The Master Set Game Guide is rule guide that explains all features and how to play Overkill Maximum. Each page thoroughly explores the Tyrant Leaders, different types of factions, movement, combat, and other key details that players will need to know before beginning the match. Graphics along with text provide an easier experience to learn how the game is played and to overall become the last faction standing.

Jaxis 9 Game BoardThe Jaxis 9 game board comes with 8 total pieces that are able to be assembled by the player any way they desire. The idea behind this is to give players total freedom to create their own battlefield without any limitations, this is a battle they build and conquer. Each Game piece is highly detailed and shows various regions on the surface of Jaxis 9, no two games are ever the same. Players also have the choice of adding or removing pieces depending on how many total players are playing the game.

Tyrant LeadersIn Overkill Maximum, there are 6 different factions that have their own unique leader known as Tyrants. Each of these Tyrants are die-casted from aluminum and dyed to match their faction colors. The tokens shown to the right (bottom for mobile) are a sample on the idea on how these tokens will look.
|
Faction Control Point TokensOne of the main features in Overkill Maximum is to control as much area as possible to grow your army and take out enemy players. Each faction has 60 control point tokens to use but in a standard game, players can only place 10 of their own. Every time they capture an enemy control point, they will replace the enemy token with their own. These tokens feature their faction insignia and coloring to distinguish them from other factions.
|
Squad TokensTo gain control of other control points and engage in combat, players will use Squad tokens that represent individual Squad Decks. These decks are comprised of Garrison Units in groups of 10 that traverse the battlefield to gain a foothold against enemy forces. Players will have 6 Squad tokens labeled from 1 to 6 and these tokens are die-casted aluminum much like the Tyrant and Command Center Tokens.

Card Back DesignAn iconic feature about Overkill Maximum is the detail for the card front and card back design. The card backs use a grunge decay style with slight variations that distinguish a Garrison Card, to a Paradox Card, to a Victory Card. The card design needs to relate to the overall theme of the game and feel like a piece of the world.
|
Front Card DesignsAll the artwork on the front of the cards are sample images, however the card boarders, icons, layout, and lore was designed and approved by me. The idea for this part of the project was to show as much artwork as possible while providing consistent information and abilities about each individual card. When this game moves from alpha to beta all artwork with either be commissioned and licensed by another artist or done by me.
